2018 is going to be a great year for movies! People all over the US are already raving about all the cool movie trailers. Genres ranging from Family Friendly Animations to Rated R thrillers are coming to the big screen this January. Paddington 2, Maze Runner: The Death Cure, and Insidious: The Last Key are the ones I’ve been hearing about the most, so let’s see what’s in store for those movies.
Maze Runner: The Death Cure is about the Main character, Thomas, and his terrifying journey to find a cure for the deadly disease called “Flare.” It is based on the last book in the Maze Runner Trilogy; so if you’re looking for an adventure filled and suspenseful movie that will get your adrenalin pumping, then this s the movie for you! Paddington 2 on the other hand is a cute, family friendly film about Paddington the bear, who is now happily settled with the Brown family, picks up some jobs to buy a present for his Aunt Lucy's 100th birthday, but the gift gets stolen. Lastly, Insidious: The Last Key is about Parapsychologist Dr. Elise Rainier and how she faces her most fearsome and personal haunting yet; and spoiler alert, it’s in her own family home.
All three of these movies are bringing variety to the New Year. Insidious: The Last Key comes out on the 5th, Paddington 2 is on the 12th, and Maze Runner: The Death Cure is the 26th. Whether you see the scary movie so the girl you’re taking on a date will cuddle with you or the whole family wants a laugh, January 2018 will be a good month for movies.
